Who Are the Alliterates?

During the last decades of the 20th century, a company named TSR (creators of Dungeons & Dragons) spawned a whole generation of authors. Eventually, many of them banded together to form the Alliterates, a writers group that meets monthly for dinner, drinks, and discussion of fiction, game design, poetry, and publishing in general.

Although the group took its start in southern Wisconsin—where TSR once had its home—the Alliterates has since spread tendrils across North American to Seattle, Austin, and even Edmonton (Alberta, Canada). Who knows where they may spread next?
